LANDSCAPE #4 THAT’S HOW THE LIGHT GETS IN
This painting gets its title from a line in the song by Leonard Cohen, “Anthem”.I have been obsessed with sunrises and sunsets ever since I can remember and it’s exactly that, the crack where the light comes in, that constantly draws me to them.
It forms part of an ongoing initiative, the Artist Support Pledge, started in the UK to support artists during the Covid 19 pandemic. Works of art are posted on Instagram using the #artistsupportpledge and work must not exceed R2000, US$200, EUR200, GBP200 and so on, depending in your country of origin. When the artist reaches an income from sales of R10,000, the pledge is to buy work from another artist, thus supporting another artist.
Painted in a mixed media of acrylic paint on paper. 25cm x 30cm
